Lisa Patton, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with more than 20 yearsâ€™ experience in behavioral health, training and technical assistance (TTA), and health services research and policy. She worked as Senior Director of Behavioral Health Research and Policy at IBM Watson Health, where she served as project director on a variety of studies across U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies. Her role also included serving as a behavioral health expert on cross-group projects and managing business development efforts focused on TTA and health services research and evaluation. Prior to IBM Watson, Dr. Patton was Director of SAMHSAâ€™s Division of Quality, Innovation, and Analysis and Chief of the Quality, Evaluation, and Performance Branch at the Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality. She earned her PhD degree in clinical/community psychology from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Harvard University.
