Training & Technical Assistance
Organizations advance farther and faster when technical assistance builds on strengths and includes a blend of activities tailored to address underlying needs and the specific context of an organization or system. Â
With that in mind, our overarching technical assistance framework is designed to complement an organization’s current capacity for change.
We begin with a comprehensive needs assessment to determine strengths and challenges and to identify the intended impact. Then we explore the capacity of the organization and its staff to implement change, and we tailor our technical assistance accordingly. We use best practices in virtual and onsite assistance to support interactive learning and to enhance sustainable implementation. We collect data to determine whether the technical assistance achieved the intended impact and to inform continuous quality improvement.
The result? Strength-based, capacity-building interventions grounded in evidence and designed to make a difference in the short and long term.
