Communications
At JBS, communications starts with the big picture: What does a client want to accomplish? What research findings can shed light on the challenges? What is the best way to reach audiences in a crowded information landscape? What messages will resonate with each audience segment? How can we measure success and refine the outreach for further communications?
With the answers to those questions in hand, we develop a comprehensive communications strategy, whether for efforts educating primary care physicians about ways to prevent substance abuse, informing women about HIV prevention, or gathering information from low-literate Spanish-speaking migrant farmworkers. The overall process is the same—reviewing literature and market research, understanding the audience, developing and testing messages and products, and designing tactics to reach audiences via different channels in ways that effect positive behavior change.Â
Our communications team collaborates closely with our creative services team and has supported complex federal clearinghouses, national health communications campaigns and media events, and global programs.
