Message From the President

March 26, 2020

This is a time of great uncertainty, and it is difficult to consider how quickly and radically our daily lives have been changed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our thoughts go out to everyone impacted, and our gratitude goes out to the healthcare professionals and other essential workers putting themselves at risk for exposure to this virus and working tirelessly to assist others.

JBS is taking the necessary safety measures to keep our employees and colleagues safe and to prevent the spread of this virus. Thanks to our dedicated staff and our business continuity planning, the JBS team has remained – and will continue to be – fully operational and ready to meet our clients and partners’ needs without interruption.

Our core values of Agility, Determination, Excellence, Innovation, Leadership, and Passion have guided us since our founding in 1985, and now we test our actions against them as we work to help clients and the populations they serve to navigate through this ever-changing landscape.

We understand that even as business continues, concerns about the health and safety of loved ones, disruptions to daily routines, worries about finances, and processing of evolving information can impact mental health vulnerabilities and recovery from substance misuse and addiction. JBS is dedicated to our vision of making real progress to improve the lives of real people, every day, and, to that end, some of our distinguished thought leaders in the behavioral health field have developed thought pieces that you may find helpful.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
