JBS Wins Interactive Media Council Best in Class Award

June 7, 2019

The Interactive Media Council (IMC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to elevating the standards of excellence on the Internet, recently awarded JBS International with a Best in Class Interactive Media Award (IMA) for JBS’s Opioid Epidemic Landing Page in the Professional Services and Healthcare categories. The highest honor bestowed by IMA, the Best in Class award represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism.

Branded as “The Opioid Epidemic – JBS: Breaking New Ground at Every Touchpoint,” the winning page showcases JBS’s work to help combat the opioid epidemic currently impacting the health and social welfare of nearly every demographic in American society. Highlights include summaries of JBS’s areas of focus, work samples, infographics, a series of short videos that present subject matter expertise on the different touchpoints surrounding the epidemic, and a sampling of JBS’s opioids-related projects.

Judges scored the project using five specific criteria with a score between 0–100 points awarded for each criterion for an overall score up to a maximum of 500 points. The Best in Class award is given to entries that achieve an overall score between 480 and 500; JBS’s Opioid Epidemic Landing Page received a score of 494.

One judge noted that the site has “excellent, high-quality, comprehensive content presented in an engaging, user friendly way” and “provides a large amount of information in a simple and appealing way, making it easy (and even enjoyable) to use.” Another judge commented that the “site’s biggest strength is its content, which is comprehensive and well-written…it portrays JBS International as a world-class substance abuse institution.”
