Disabilities
Expertise
Nearly 1 in 5 Americans lives with a disability.
As our society recognizes that a disability is not an illness, we’ve made health care, products, and environments available to everyone. Still, barriers remain for those who live with disabilities.
JBS’s Disability Services Center is at the forefront of addressing disability issues and investigating and dealing with disparities and services gaps for people with brain injuries, behavioral health disorders, and cognitive impairments. The center identifies effective approaches to meeting the unmet needs of children, young adults, adults, and seniors with a disability. We test and implement best practice solutions. Addressing the health, education, and employment issues of returning service members is an important part of our portfolio.
We are committed to enhancing the systems that improve rehabilitation outcomes and enable people with disabilities to live as integral members of their communities.
