Children, Youth, and Families
Expertise
To succeed, families need safety, stability, and a sense of well-being. They need tools to build their strengths and enable them to achieve a better future.
JBS works with federal, state, and local governments and nonprofits to understand and assess the problems children, youth, families, and systems face. We choose or develop solutions, implement them, monitor and evaluate the outcomes, and disseminate knowledge and information.
Our robust portfolio of projects touches children and youth in every system: child welfare, juvenile justice, schools, workforce development, health care. And it touches families facing every adversity: child abuse and neglect, mental health and substance use problems, homelessness, family and community violence, teen pregnancy.
Getting to a better future isn’t about developing 1 or 2 new solutions. It’s about understanding how every solution comes together to improve lives. JBS has been doing that for children, youth, and families for 3 decades.
