ADEAR Center and NIA Web Sites

Client: National Institute on Aging (NIA)

JBS designs and manages all NIA Web sites, including the main public NIA Internet site and the Alzheimer’s Disease Education and Referral Center Internet site. Last year, more than 4.5 million users visited the two Web sites.

Centers of Excellence for Teacher Training (CETT) Outreach Web Sites

Client: U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)

These two outreach Web sites (mirroring each other in English and Spanish) provide a friendly, inviting format to showcase CETT accomplishments and encourage partnering. The sites also provide descriptions, outline achievements, and share teachers’ personal stories by region and country.

NIDA Networking Project Web Portal

Client: National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)

JBS has developed a content-managed portal Web site in support of the NIDA Networking Project, which provides opportunities for information sharing and research collaboration among NIDA’s networks across the country. Site features include an interactive animated map system with rollover geographic information and syndication (RSS feed).

Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) and National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth (NCFY) Web Sites

Client: Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB)

JBS designed and manages two Web sites FYSB and NCFY. The FYSB Web site is a comprehensive online resource, encompassing a one-site architecture approach in which all component Web sites present a common “look and feel” and a global navigation scheme. The newly redesigned NCFY Web site is a dynamic and informative online resource designed to serve diverse audiences, including young people, youth service professionals, and researchers.

Safe Start Center Web Site

Client: Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention

JBS designed and maintains the Safe Start Web site to present evidence-based strategies for reducing the impact of children’s exposure to violence. The site provides informational resources about the Safe Start Initiative and highlights the work of Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Safe Start Promising Approaches grantees.
