JBS Launches New Landing Page on Opioids Crisis

November 2, 2017

JBS International has debuted a new landing page on its website to highlight the breadth and depth of its work and expertise in addressing opioid abuse, recently declared a public health emergency.

The page features examples of work from JBS’s 30-plus years of experience in the behavioral health field, as well as interviews with in-house subject matter experts sharing their insights about the latest strategies to treat opioid addiction.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, overdoses involving opioids killed more than 28,000 people in 2014, with more than half of those deaths from prescription opioids.

JBS was founded in 1985 with a vision to improve the human condition by helping clients solve complex health and social problems. Since then, its employees have worked on the ground in all 50 U.S. states and many territories to confront every major drug epidemic that has plagued the country. This experience gives JBS’s behavioral health experts a deep understanding of the biological and social factors that contribute to drug abuse and addiction, as well as the strategies and treatments that help people recover.
